The deadline for each issue's calendar is the 15th of the month prior to publication. Listings run in the newspaper as space allows, but ALL of the submitted listings are posted here when the newspaper is completed. RANGELEY WORLD RECORD SNOWMOBILE RIDE FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS, Hosted at Bald Mountain Camps in Oquossoc. Outdoor BBQ, bonfire, dancing, live DJ on the Ice, 22 mile ride, indoor silent and live auction, and the best darn fireworks show in the area. All events are free for the entire family. A $10 sticker donation for the ride is suggested and every dollar raised goes directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northern New England.

SNOWFEST ON EMBDEN POND, Hosted by the Embden Travelers SC and the Embden Pond Association. Members and prospective members gather from noon to 3p.m. at the boat landing on Embden Pond. Hamburgers, hot dogs, coffee, hot chocolate will be available. Snowmobile obstacle course, groomed cross country ski course, games and activities.
ANNUAL SNOWFEST/FISHING DERBY, on Washington Pond, hosted by the Hill and Gully Riders of Washington. $75 prize for largest overall fish, $20 for the largest: pickerel, brown trout, brook trout, white perch, yellow perch. Weigh in 3p.m. Derby/Raffle tickets: $1, 6 for $5. Purchase from club members, local businesses, or the snack shack the day of the event. The Hill & Gully Snack Shack will be set up at the boat launch on Razorville Road (Route 105) selling burgers, hot dogs, coffee, soda, more.
